You’re Not Alone I cannot ease your aching heart nor take your pain away,

But let me stay and take your hand and walk with you today.

I’ll listen when you need to talk, I’ll wipe away your tears,

I’ll share your worries when they come,

I’ll help you face your fears.

I’m here to always walk by you,

Each hill you have to climb,

So take my hand, let’s face the world,

And live one day at a time!

You’re not alone, for I am here,

And I’ll go that extra mile,

And when your grief is passing,

I’ll help you learn to smile! …………………………

From my heart to your heart,

I have something to say,

You are the one that can make my day!

When I need a helping hand you are there without delay,

Your love and understanding I can only hope to repay.

You’ve done so many things for me.

You’ve always given more than you receive.

You’ve been there for me in all I do,

A shoulder to cry on with all I’ve been through.

You give of yourself your heart and soul.

You’ve always been the one to console.

Together we’ve laughed and cried.

I know that in you I can confide.

You’ve been the giver of so many things,

Totally deserving of beautiful wings.

You are an inspiration to me,

A better example you could not be.

You hold yourself to standards that are high,

You never compromise what you believe,

You’re more interested in what you can give, than receive.

You take on the problems of others as if they were your own.

You never criticize, complain, or groan.

You’re unique, you’re special, and you’re one of a kind,

And a better friend, I could not find! ………………………………..

Remember to always say what you mean.

If you love someone, tell them. Don’t hide,

Don’t be afraid Reach out and show them that, you really care.

’cause when you decide that, it is the right time, it might be too late.

And the regrets you have, may never be fade.

So here I’m; to tell, I LOVE YOU! my friend.

 

And my roots will set off to seek another land.

But if each day, each hour,

you feel that you are destined for me with implacable sweetness,

If each day a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me,

in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,

The nails of heart ache have kept my heart boarded for so long

Protecting me from the fear of what might happen if I took a chance

Protecting me from betrayal, from being used and tossed aside

But I also realize, as nervous as I feel chances must be taken

They must be taken if I ever plan to have what I see other’s have

 

I Can’t help but notice couples in love

I see the magic in their eyes

I hear it in the way they whisper to each other, the way they kiss

I see they way they hold each other

I see the way they caress

A caress so gentle, it should be a crime to sigh that loud

But I can’t ignore that every time I took that chance,

someone hurt me Taking from me, using me,

simply to toss all that could have been theirs away

It isn’t fair I It isn’t fair I shout,

it isn’t fair, why must I have to struggle to meet someone nice?

I nailed the door to my heart shut, not to keep other’s out, but to keep me in

Within the darkness of my heart,

I feel safe, no one can hurt me

No one can look at the floor and see the shattered memories,

 

I see each day I want 2007 to be a year of change,

I want to love and be loved I want to trust,

I want to believe that everything

I could offer is enough

I want to believe that someone is out there just as nervous as

I am I can’t be the only one left, who hides from what they crave the most

With tears in my eyes,

I pry and pull each nail in the door out

When the last nail falls upon the floor,

I set the hammer on the table

Slowly, ever so slowly,

The warmth and brightness of the sun fills my heart, as shadows of pain retreat

There is much cleaning to do in this heart of mine, before I can let someone in

I dare to dream of holding their hand as we walk from room to room

Letting them see the best of qualities I have to share with them in time

As well as letting them see the damages done to my self-esteem, requiring their patience

They say that all good things are worth the wait, that love is worth the risk

I know it, but it doesn’t make it any easier

Oh, My God,

Sometimes it’s hard to talk about the feelings of the heart…

Sometimes we’d like to mention them but don’t know where to start…

Sometimes we wish we could express them in a special way…

But maybe just “I care” is the best thing we can say.

If I could catch a rain bow I would do it just for you.

And share with you it’s beauty

On the days you’re feeling blue.

If I could build a mountain

You could call your very own.

A place to find serenity

A place to be alone.

If I could take your troubles

I would toss them in the sea.

But all these things

I’m finding are impossible for me,

I cannot build a mountain Or catch a rainbow fair

But let me be…what I know best, a friend that’s always there

Life can seem ungrateful and not always kind

Life can pull at your heartstrings and play with your mind…

Life can be blissful and happy and free…

Life can put beauty in the things that you see…

Life can place challenges right at your feet…

When ever you lose you way, you can have my eyes to guide you.

When ever you fall, I will catch you.

When ever you are sad,

 

I will do anything to make you glad.

I may not always know what to do or say, but I will help in anyway.

When ever you have a question or favor to ask, know the answer will always be yes.

What ever you do, where ever you go, I will always be here for you.

If you ever thought I was mad or upset with you, that is not true.

I will not and could not, ever be mad at you.

If you where ever mad or upset with me, for that I am truly sorry.

Despite the distance that may separates us, I
I am just a phone call, letter, e-mail, or IM away And if we should part,

You will always be close to me, in my heart.
